Description
Based at the University of Canberra, the Health Research Institute (UC HRI) delivers leading research to support a healthier future.
Why is this useful for rural and remote people?
This survey conducted by the University of Canberra Health Research Institute (UC HRI) aims to build a picture of the health and wellbeing of communities. The survey explores perceptions of rural and regional residents about access to services such as healthcare, self-assessed wellbeing, levels of volunteerism etc in order to build a picture of how communities are travelling. This is an invaluable source of information for rural and remote communities wanting to understand potential drivers of poor health and to discuss potential opportunities to improve community well-being.
