This medical practice has zero tolerance for abusive and/or threatening behaviour towards our team members. This includes shouting, swearing, aggressive actions, threats, inappropriate gestures and name calling. Please treat us as you would like to be treated yourself. If you are abusive or threatening, you will be required to leave the clinic and transfer your care to another practice. Refusal to leave will result in the police being called.

When booking a consultation you can book a 15-minute general consultation or a longer consultation. We recommend a longer consultation if you have several issues or a complex problem. Appointment types: Standard - 15 minutes Long - 30 minutes Extended - 40+ minutes

West Armidale Medical Centre is proud to have joined the Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program. This means Medicare-eligible patients can now access fully bulk billed eligible services at our Centre. This includes standard appointment types such as routine GP consultations, health assessments and chronic conditions management plans and reviews (where eligible). It is important to note however that there will be some services that still incur an out of pocket fee, such as, minor procedures, skin procedures, and certain specialised services. We encourage you to speak with us if you are unsure whether the services you are receiving will be bulk billed or whether there will be an out of pocket expense.

We comply with all professional and statutory privacy obligations. All information provided by you to the practice is strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third party unless you request it, or sharing it is required by law. The sharing of your health information with other health professionals will always be discussed with you first. Your information is stored securely, and all staff are trained in the management of health information and confidentiality.
