Community Transport
Our Community Transport service helps people in Collarenebri and surrounding communities get where they need to go safely and reliably.
Government subsidised and delivered by our local team, the service provides an easy and accessible transport option for people who may otherwise find it difficult to get around.

Who is Community Transport for?
Community Transport may be able to help if you:

live in an area with limited or no public transport and don’t have access to private transport

are older and have limited mobility
-
have a disability or health condition that makes getting around more difficult

Collarenebri Community Transport Schedule
The Barraay Waraba (Fast Turtle) service is an 11-seater vehicle that provides safe, reliable and essential transport between Collarenebri, Moree and Walgett.
Collarenebri to Moree
The Collarenebri to Moree route runs every Thursday.
Travel times:
Departure: 8:30am Collarenebri Community Hub
Arrival: 10:30am Moree
Departure: 2:30pm Moree
Arrival: 4:30pm Collarenebri
How to book:
Phone (02 4602 8900) or in person at The Foundations Collarenebri office.
Pre-booking is required, with as much notice as possible. As this is a shared service, please allow plenty of advanced notice.
If there are no bookings the day prior, this service will not run.

RED ticket - Pensioners (All day) $2.50
Important information:
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult while using this service.
Children aged between 0-7 must be in an approved child seat; the Foundation has two child seats for use, a 24-hours notice for a child car seat is required. The parent/caregiver is responsible for ensuring that children are correctly seated.
Collarenebri to Walgett
The Collarenebri to Moree route runs every Monday and Friday.
Monday travel times:
Departure: 1pm Collarenebri Community Hub
Arrival: 2pm Walgett
Departure: 6pm Walgett
Arrival: 7pm Collarenebri
Friday travel times:
Departure: 8:30am Collarenebri Community Hub
Arrival: 10:30am Moree
Departure: 2:30pm Moree
Arrival: 4:30pm Collarenebri
