Community Transport
Our government subsidised Community Transport service provides safe, easy-to-access travel in rural and remote communities. Currently we provide services to Collarenebri and surrounding communities. Service timetables can be found below.

Who is community transport for?
Community transport can assist those who:

live in an area with little or no public transport and don’t have access to private transport.
-
are elderly and have limited mobility
-
have a disability or health issues that limit your mobility
Our local teams care about delivering safe and reliable transport services to people in our regional communities.​
Collarenebri Community Transport
The Barraay Waraba (Fast Turtle) service is an 11-seater vehicle that provides safe, reliable and essential transport between Collarenebri, Moree and Walgett.

Collarenebri to Moree
​​The Collarenebri to Moree route runs every Thursday.
Travel times:
Departure: 8:30am Collarenebri Community Hub
Arrival: 10:30am Moree
Departure: 2:30pm Moree
Arrival: 4:30pm Collarenebri

How to book:
Phone (02 4602 8900) or in person at The Foundations Collarenebri office.
Pre-booking is required, with as much notice as possible. As this is a shared service, please allow plenty of advanced notice.
If there are no bookings the day prior, this service will not run.

Important information:

Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult while using this service.
​
Children aged between 0-7 must be in an approved child seat; the Foundation has two child seats for use, a 24-hours notice for a child car seat is required. The parent/caregiver is responsible for ensuring that children are correctly seated.
Collarenebri to Walgett
​​The Collarenebri to Moree route runs every Monday and Friday.
Monday travel times:
Departure: 1pm Collarenebri Community Hub
Arrival: 2pm Walgett
Departure: 6pm Walgett
Arrival: 7pm Collarenebri
Friday travel times:

Departure: 8:30am Collarenebri Community Hub
Arrival: 10:30am Moree
Departure: 2:30pm Moree
Arrival: 4:30pm Collarenebri
