Everyone deserves to live the healthiest life possible. But improving community health is complex. Our health and well-being depend on many factors that sometimes feel like they are beyond our control: the environment, employment, housing, local business, education and more.
While communities do not fully control these factors, they can influence many of them locally. They also have the local knowledge needed to guide others, such as governments, to deliver programs and strategies to successfully address the social, economic and environmental factors that contribute to good health and well-being.
The Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that works nationwide to improve community health and healthcare by facilitating innovative partnerships between communities, NGOs, business and government, and delivering programs and services, to address the social determinants of health.
Bringing Stakeholders Together
We achieve our mission through our dynamic partnerships with NGOs, universities, research organisations, governments, communities and individuals.
As an advocacy-focused organisation our aim is to influence policy changes that supports our goal of healthy communities.
